More taster mornings at Castor Hanglands

There are more chances to have a go at traditional woodland crafts in a beautiful National Nature Reserve on Peterborough's doorstep this spring.

Following the success of our first Sunday morning of coppicing and crafting at Castor Hanglands, we will be running more taster sessions every second Sunday of the month.

What’s on each month will vary depending on the season and what projects people are working on.  On the 8th March, we will be hurdle making and perhaps using the pole lathe.

Please be aware our work area is a clearing in the woods, with no mod cons, so suitable boots and clothing fit for whatever the weather might be are needed. Do bring a packed lunch and/or snacks if you like: we have benches to sit on and enjoy the woodland.

Please let us know in advance by email (nenecoppicingandcrafts@gmail.com) if you are coming, and we can make sure you find us on the day!
